CUA40920 Short Course in Sound Production
A unit selection from the Cert IV in Music Industry
*Please note this is not a full Certificate IV in Music Industry
Duration: 24 weeks (6 months)
Delivery: Part-time – 3 hours, 1 class per week in Geelong
Gain proficiency using the industry standard Pro Tools recording software to conduct multitrack recording sessions
Gauge an understanding of microphone selection and positioning for both studio and live sound applications
Knowledge an understanding of studio hardware setups and the use of standard outboard equipment
Run a recording session including a final mix down of the project
Learn to operate and develop skills with the front of house and side of stage mixing consoles
Ability to learn how to set up a stage and mix live group performances
